How do I activate “Do Not Disturb”?

If you do not wish to be disturbed in your room, please hang the designated card on the outside of your room door. Do let us know when your room can be serviced.

What facilities and packages are available for seminars and meetings?

We are happy to make our 85 m² seminar room (L 13.80 m x W 6.20 m) available for seminars, meetings and incentive events. You can also book one of our conference packages, including technical equipment, coffee breaks and a business lunch.

Is there a fitness room?

Our fitness room is located in the spa area in the wellness wing. The fitness room is open daily from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm. Please note that children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the equipment.

Where can I find a hairdresser?

Our reception team will be happy to arrange a hairdressing appointment for you at a salon in town.

Can I purchase a hotel gift voucher?

Give a slice of happiness. Surprise your loved ones with a voucher from our hotel, a spa treatment or a restaurant voucher. Our reservations team will be happy to issue you with your chosen voucher.

Is there air conditioning in the rooms?

Every room is equipped with air conditioning, which is set automatically. The air conditioning switches off when the windows or balcony doors are opened. To turn off the air conditioning, set the left-hand switch to OFF. To turn it back on again, set it to ON. Please do not use any other switches on the thermostat. If you experience any difficulties operating the unit, please contact our reception team (tel. no. 9).

What number should I dial in an emergency?

In an emergency, you can dial the emergency number 112, which covers police, the fire brigade and medical assistance.

Is there a safe in the room?

There is a safe in your wardrobe. Operating instructions can be found on the safe. Please always lock away your valuables. The hotel accepts no liability for valuables left in the room.

What can I use my key card for at Kvarner Palace?

Your key card opens your room door, as well as the barrier at the outdoor car park and the garden gate leading to the beach. You will also need your room card Palace Beach to access the changing rooms, showers and WC. Please return the card to the reception on departure.

How can I order a taxi?

We will be happy to arrange a taxi for you. Please contact our reception team.

Can I use the tennis courts?

The hotel has two clay tennis courts. Use of the tennis courts is free of charge for hotel guests (subject to availability). Bookings can be made with our reception team. Drazen, our tennis coach, can be booked for private lessons by appointment. Tennis equipment is also available for hire.

Is there a laundry service?

You are welcome to leave laundry for cleaning and ironing in the designated laundry bag with the completed laundry slip at reception. The price list can be found in your wardrobe. Your clean laundry will be returned to your room within 24 hours. The cost will be charged to your room account.

What time can I check in, and when do I need to check out?

Your room will be available from 3.00 pm on your day of arrival. On your day of departure, we kindly ask that you vacate your room by 10.30 am. You are, of course, welcome to spend the rest of the day with us by the pool or in the spa area.

How and when can I settle my hotel bill?

Our reception team is available around the clock on the internal telephone number 9. You can settle your bill from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm. You are welcome to settle your bill the evening before you depart to avoid long waiting times on the morning of your departure.

Is there a shuttle service to and from the train station or airport?

Please let us know in good time if you plan to arrive or depart by train or plane. We are happy to arrange a transfer for you. The cost per journey (one-way) is approximately €70.

What are the cancellation conditions?

Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to two weeks before arrival.

  • Two weeks to three days before arrival: 35% cancellation fee
  • One day before arrival or no-show: 100% cancellation fee
  • You will be charged for your entire reservation period in case of early departure.
Can I take out travel insurance?

As unforeseen circumstances can always arise, we recommend taking out travel insurance.

You are welcome to take out the Hotel Cancellation Plus insurance policy offered by Europäische Reiseversicherung. This covers not only cancellation costs, but also curtailment of travel, delayed arrival, involuntary extension of stay and search and rescue costs (including helicopter rescue).

Are towels provided for the pool and beach?

On arrival, you will find a bathing bag in your room containing two yellow towels for use at the pool and beach. If you would like to have them replaced, please hand over your used towels to your housekeeping attendant or at the wellness reception.

What are the opening times of the restaurants and bars?

For breakfast and dinner, our restaurant on the hotel’s lower floor, with its inviting sun terrace, is available at the following times:

Breakfast buffet:             7.00 am – 11.00 am

However, as we believe a true holiday means “sleeping in for as long as you like”, we are happy to serve you breakfast in your room or on your balcony. Simply dial 9 (reception) and let us know what you would like.

Evening buffet:                6.00 pm – 9.00 pm

Trattoria and Grill by the Pool for a light snack during the day:

Opening times:                 11.00 am – 6.00 pm (kitchen 12.00 pm – 4.00 pm)

What are the opening times of the wellness area?

Our spa facilities are open daily from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. To make an appointment, please contact the spa reception (Tel. 607).

Please note that, in the event of late arrival, it is not possible to extend treatments beyond the scheduled appointment time. If you arrive later than booked, your treatment time will be shortened accordingly.

Should you be unable to keep a scheduled appointment, a 50% charge will apply to cancellations made the day before, and a 100% charge for cancellations made on the day of the appointment itself.

Important:

Clean pool and beach towels are available at both the wellness reception and the main reception. Please exchange them there.

What do I need to bear in mind in the spa?

The spa is a place of peace and relaxation. Access to the sauna area is therefore only permitted for guests aged 16 and over. The sauna area is a clothing-free zone.

Is there complimentary Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel.

Can I bring my dog?

You are very welcome to bring your four-legged friend with you. Please understand that, for hygiene reasons, dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or wellness area, nor on the lounging lawns, by the pools or on the restaurant terraces. When your dog needs a walk, the beautiful beach and promenade path in Crikvenica or the forest trails in the hinterland are idea. There are ample walks available right on the doorstep.

What do I need to bear in mind when on holiday with a dog?

For safety reasons, please do not leave your dog unattended anywhere on the hotel grounds (a 30,000 m² park). Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times throughout the indoor and outdoor areas of the hotel and park. Please pick up your dog’s waste in a poop bag, and dispose of it in the designated waste bins provided in the outdoor areas. The cleaning fee for your four-legged friend is €20 per day.

How much does the outdoor or underground car park cost?

The outdoor car park is free to use. Parking in the underground car park costs €10 per day, per car. You are welcome to charge your electric vehicle with us free of charge.

From what age are guests served alcohol?

Please note that we are only permitted to serve alcohol to guests aged 18 and over.

Are there allergy-friendly menus and medical support at the hotel?

Our kitchen team is happy to prepare special allergy-friendly menus. Please speak to a member of our reception team in this regard. We kindly ask that you inform us of any food intolerances well in advance. Thank you!

We are not permitted to dispense medication. Should you require medication or a doctor, we will be happy to arrange an appointment and/or provide directions to the nearest pharmacy or medical practice. A first aid kit is available at the reception desk.

Where can I find the nearest ATM or bureau de change?

The nearest ATM is located approximately 200 m from the hotel, heading towards the beach and the town centre. You will also find bureaux de change in Crikvenica town centre.

Can I pay by credit card?

You are welcome to charge your restaurant purchases to your room number. Please write your room number and name clearly and legibly on every bill to avoid any confusion. Thank you!

Please note the following when settling your bill:

Payment is accepted in cash (€) and by Maestro card and credit card (VISA and MASTERCARD). Since 1 January 2023, Croatia’s national currency has been the euro.

What should I do in the event of a fire?

In the event of a fire, please close the door of the room in question and report the fire to reception (no. 9) immediately. On hearing the evacuation alarm, please leave the hotel using the marked emergency exits. Please do not use the lifts in the event of a fire!

Evacuation plans for the unlikely event of a fire or another emergency are displayed in every room behind the entrance door and in the hotel corridors. Emergency exits are clearly signposted with green and white signs.
